description

In the very centre of Brussels, this camel-back transport company connects the Grand Place, symbol of mass tourism, and the Place du Jeu de Balle, in the middle of the working-class district. Three landing stages are positioned along the route. They host random draws to win a ride and they facilitate the access on board the four camels, supervised by ten members of the team.

Dromad Air is our response to the theme of the Festival Recyclart: city tourism and reality.

From three meters high, at the slow and quiet pace of the animal, the town and urban transport become the context of a surreal vision. This exotic shift reveals and makes a mockery of the cohabitation of tourist promenades and everyday journeys.
