The Room-Room project was conceived and developed as a part of a reflection on emergency architecture. In Pekin on May, 2009, The National Art Museum of China (NAMOC) presented the proposal of fourteen designer for a special exhibition on the commemoration of the earthquake in Sichuan (2008-05-12).
We tried to think about what we most need in critical moments like this one: when you’re homeless and left out of society.
We wanted to create an “ally” for those who want to rebuild their lives and go through the process with dignity.
