description

As an island in the city, a place of creation and artistic distribution on the Seine river for the Guinguette Pirate Association. Petit Bain is a floating cultural facility, staying at the port of call 9 of the Port de la Gare right in front of the Bibliothèque François Mitterrand in the 13th arrondissement of Paris.

Due to the shipping constraints, the building assembles three floors and is 45 meter-long, 11 meter-wide and 6 meter-high. The double height show hall is merged in with the hull. The orchestra pit is extended by the bar in the upper room, the locker rooms and the rest rooms. On the dock, three bridges allow visitors to access the ticket office, the resource center and the offices. An integration restaurant offers a view on the Seine river.

You can access the terrasse to enjoy the Seine inside the hanging garden, seen as a true extension of the public space of the dock. Almost invisible from the docks, the colour of the terrasse gives the water a different hue while façades are encircled by a wooden cladding.
