For the Design City 2014 Biennale (organized by the MUDAM), we suggested psychological and physical experiences. The sign above the eight swings is a hint at the “Earth Overshoot Day”. Each year, an estimation is made regarding the humanity’s resource consumption based on what the Earth can produce that year. In 2013, the estimated date was the 20th of August, and every day after that we were living far beyond our ecological resources. Calculated by the American NGO Global Footprint Network, the date shows the ratio between the Earth’s organic production capacity and Humanity’s ecological footprint.

The structure offers a relaxing and conscious double experience. The didactic and collective system allows you to share the idea you have at the top of your head and embody one of the most difficult challenge we are facing.
