Mobilo

Mobilo is the convergence of a modular stage and a floating pontoon. Laid out on the water it’s a floating stage, on land it becomes a public bench.
Our proposal is for units which can be used in two positions, for two different purposes: the exceptional use as scenic facility and the everyday use as urban street furniture. Mobilo’s units are 2m by 1m, with a floor and a float, linked together by a metalic structure with handles. Thirty units, assembled in different configurations, allow the setting up of various geometric stages on the water or, alternatively, contribute to the development of the banks while also solving the problem of storing the units.
